About Tanglewood Inn

A Historic Gem Restored with Love

A large two-story red brick house with a stone pathway and front porch.

Originally constructed in 1908, several years ago it became our goal to save 134 Tanglewood Drive as it was destined for demolition in the near future. Recognizing an opportunity to preserve a piece of Greenville, South Carolina's history, we meticulously crafted a unique space, ensuring the preservation of every original detail and unique character. Breathing new life into this house has been an immense joy, inspiring us to share this experience with others as a home away from home. Every aspect of Tanglewood Inn, from the staircase to the tile floors, furniture, and even the teacups, reflects our personal touch and dedication. We are delighted to open our doors to guests and eagerly anticipate sharing our home with you!

    The Tanglewood Inn is a lovely historic home in a quiet neighborhood a short drive from downtown Greenville. The room I stayed in was huge and the bed was very comfortable....If you like history and antique decor you will love this place, yet is has modern bathrooms and appliances.

    The room was beautiful! The innkeeper Jaeda went way out of her way to make this stay possible for us!...So many authentic antiques and just special touches everywhere! We truly would recommend this Inn to everyone! We both said when we were leaving that this stay will be pretty hard to beat! If we could give it 10 stars, we would!
